I was thinking over some things that might be neat to add in for keeping players occupied and maybe bring in new players.

More monsters/animals around the world from the beta and possibly dungeons to inhabit some of them.

More Quests/Random Quests to make getting a house/gold easier for new players, random quests could involve killing x amount of skeletons for x amount of gold in x amount of time and a cosmetic reward for decoration in houses, they could be repeatable every day and offer different items each time. Could be handed out by townsfolk or city guards that are set stationary.

Different ore types with no attribute bonus and only cosmetically different.

Cartography, players can make a map that is in a minimap view style thats centered on where the player made the map and lets the player place pins with labels. (could even have player made treasure maps and quests with this)

Fishing with a variety of fish (different weights and sell prices depending) and multiple ways to fish (baits and fishing rods)

Something related to if not the random jailed npcs that can be freed with a key from one of the mobs surrounding it and then escorted to town for a gold reward or unique cosmetic item.

Caravans with guards that travel through Britain to Cove and back that will buy almost every item but 50% less than the appropriate seller. (60 gold for a iron chestplate where its worth 120 at a blacksmith) Also sells items sold to him for 24 hours. (then the items are removed if not sold) Can be killed for all current items with an exploit proof way to prevent people from killing the trader and running away from the guards then returning to loot. There could be 2 guards one that heals rapidly and another that chases the player like a city guard and hits just as hard.

Tooltips in crafting to better situate players with weapon swing times and the durability the item will have when crafted. Could also have a recipe book of the currently known crafting requirements to make an item (having the player first make the item then it would be entered) for easier accessibility

Roaming NPCs in cities to make it seem more alive, can stop for a drink at the bar or interact with other NPCs.
