Instead of making a new thread each time there is a server-side change upon a bug fix ill keep them in here.

2/9/12
  • Fixed the crash from casting In Lor on a non-player. In Lor may only be used on players.
  • Fixed an exploit allowing players with razor to setup a macro and cast spells not inside their spellbook.
  • Crash fixed when killing Myndon and not on the Serpent Order quest.

  • Gold rush event ended
  • Mace hit/miss sounds fixed
  • Melee damage scale is about 20% higher
  • Exceptional crafted weapons do +10% more damage
  • Melee miss chance has been reduced when gm
  • Bandage timer has been increased by 3.5 seconds
  • Oil flasks last 1 second longer
  • Guards are slightly slower and hit for less damage
  • Potentially fixed a bug with Carpentry not correctly displaying available craftables and skill gains


    Upcoming changes:
  • Magic Defense fix
  • Out of town housing
  • Improved mining, rocks can be broken down and respawn randomly. Similar to trees.
  • Many new carpentry craftables
Things I been thinking about lately. (doesnt mean they are going to happen!)
Archery, Guilds and Opening the Prison.

Hey guys! Quick update here, its not much but i can only do so much over remote acceess. Im in Seatlle Washington until Friday. Very cold!

Here are a few quick fixes (i haven't tested them but im confident :P )

2/16/12
  • When making a new character, your name will be unchangeable once logging in. (unchangable in the secondary creation menu)
  • You can only have 1 rental menu open at a time.
  • Myndon should no longer teleport.
  • Kegs now correctly require ingots to craft
I planned to release the new housing earlier, but as i had to take an unexpected trip i couldnt get time.
When i return, i got a pretty big patch coming. Im also thinking about pulling out of "Open Test" and into a release. From there i will put in full efforts for advertising and getting this place alive. I thank you all for your patients.

  • Guards will correctly attack criminals.
  • No longer able to create bank checks.
  • Blockage in south fence exit at blacksmith fixed.
  • No longer able to place a house outside boundaries.
  • Fixed knight typos.
  • In Lor spell now works correctly.
  • The Launcher now shows the correct version.
  • Cancelling your rental contract will now correctly flag you as eligible to own a placed house.
    (There is a mysterious bug which has popped up to this, if your still unable to place a house PM me and I will directly contact with you in-game.)
Bounty System
  • Bounties will now expire after 10 hours.
  • While a bounty is issued for thee another player may attack you with no penalty.
  • Player status bars (health bar) will appear orange to other players if a bounty is issued for them.
  • Bounty Boards now show the amount of bounties active by single clicking them.
  • If a bounty is placed on someone who is already is listed, it will not create a new bounty but instead add to the reward of the current.

Bug Fixes/Changes:
  • You can no longer open rental contracts unless within 3 tiles, you can also only have 1 rental contract open at a time.
  • Rented home doors will now be unlocked when cancelling contract. Existing house keys will no longer work.
  • Fixed typo when walking over something invisible.
  • Stat gains increased
  • Fixed a big issue with armor not taking durability damage.
  • Fixed bug with children periodicaly dissapearing when being attacked.
  • Murderous creatures will be red.
  • Knights will move slower.
Additions:

Carpentry:
  • Shelves
  • Baskets
  • Barrels
Blacksmithy:
  • Metal Chests
Test Systems:
  • Slightly improved creature AI
  • Combat system slightly re-worked. New damage and defensive modifiers.
  • Battle Defense slightly reworked.
  • Players will take more realistic damage depending on creature skills/player skills, weapon quality/armor quality.
Possible upcoming changes:
  • Many new Carpentry & Blacksmithy craftables. (Axes will require wood to craft also.)
  • New placeable houses, reduced prices.
  • New harvestable items (plants, leaves, stone...)
  • New AnimalAI to produce meat, fur and other resources based on conditions.
  • Clans (Not player guilds, but similar to NPC guilds)
  • Cooking, tailoring and Cartography.*
  • Plans to have more use of the Castle.
  • Dueling/Rank Ladder.

  • Exceptional & Grandmaster marked armor will now give a armor bonus. (As it was before 2.0a)
  • Marked armor also provides a bonus.
  • All carpentry items require boards to craft. This is how it was intended.
  • Arrows now only require 1 board
  • Grandmaster Blacksmthy will now have a better chance to exceptionally craft Metal Chests.
NOTE: The armor values effect existing items as well, you do not need to remake the armor to see the changes. :)

  • House deed prices significantly dropped.
  • House deeds were mistakenly newbied, this has been corrected and are now lootable and stealable.
  • Guards will no longer be blocked by players, guards will also destroy items items that absolutely block their path.
  • Magic Defense is now much more reliable and more efficient with skill gain.
  • Fixed the bug with all weapon animations only using the crossbow shoot

Spell System:

In Mani Ylem (Conjure Food)
Creates food that can be eaten (good to use when low on stamina), logging out will vanish any conjured food.

In Lor (Night Vision)
Allows the caster to target themself or another player to allow them to see in darkness, the amount of vision is determined by the casters magic skill.

Mani (Heal)
Heals a friendly target.

In Vas Mani (Greater Heal)
Large heal on a friendly target.

Quas An Lor (Conjure Darkness)
Allows the caster to hide himself or another target for a limited time.

In Vas Lor (Conjure Light)
Reveals any hidden mobiles withing a tile range determined by the casters magic. For each revealed, a damaging fire light will be placed under their feet.

An Jux (Removed Trap)
Disarms a trapped box.

Kai Xen (Conjure)
Summons a commandable corp wolf, controlled by the caster. Its duration is determined by the casters magic skill.

Corp Wolf commands
  • corp guard
  • corp attack
  • corp halt
  • corp come
In Por Ylem (Magic Arrow)
Create a magical arrow to damage your target.

An Mani (Harm)
Strikes the casters target, the closer to the target the more damage.

An Sanc (Curse)
Lowers all your targets stats temporarily.

Ort Rel (Mana Drain)
Drains your targets mana, very efficient if your target has little magic defense. Not so effective against high skill level magic defense.

Por Flam (Fireball)
Creates a magical fireball that you can cast at your target.

Por Corp Wis (Mind Blast)
Deales damaged based on your targets highest stat - lowest

Ort Grav (Lightning)
Strikes your target with a lightning.

In Corp Jux (Create Magic Trap)
Creates a highly explosive container. When opened it will set off a explosive trap, damage is determined by the creators magic skill. The caster may safely open the box and not set off the trap.


I will post back shortly with a more efficient chart of each spells damage modifiers and resisting table.

  • Fixed bug with house doors saying "That is out of sight".
  • Some vegetation intended to be harvestable was not working, This was fixed.
  • Fixed cloth prices form tailors.

  • Fixed bug that would remove your hair while using a crossbow. (Launcher update required)
  • Fixed an issue with Tailoring menus closing and not allowing use.
  • Alchemy & Tailoring skill requirements and gains slightly changed to be more manageable.
  • Most potions are now stackable.
